Meet Dr. Annette Rogers
I am very excited to be apart of the Fairview Dental team, and I cannot wait to spread my love for dentistry to my patients, My Goal is to provide comfortable, quality care to my patients with modern dentistry for the whole family.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, and I continued on to the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. My interests in dental research led me to continue research throughout my schooling at institutions like the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. My academic journey next led me to The University of Illinois at Chicago, where I pursued a dual degree education in dental research and dentistry. It was there that I was awarded a Fellowship Grant through the National Institutes of Health with my research focused on periodontal health and bone regeneration. Ultimately, I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with my Doctorate of Dental Medicine and Doctorate of Philosophy in Oral Sciences. During my time in dental school, I was awarded a Fellowship Award through the Academy of Periodontology. I had the pleasure of presenting my research at numerous domestic and international conferences, as well as publishing my work in dental research journals.
IN THE OFFICE
It has always been my dream to become a dentist and to provide the best quality care to my patients. It is my hope that you feel comfortable in the dental chair and get the best experience possible. I am lucky to be a part of the Fairview Dental team with our great staff and hygienists. I am a certified Invisalign provider and trained in WaveOne Technology. I love educating patients on their treatment options, and making sure they are advocates for their overall health. While not at Fairview Dental, I am often advancing my education through online and in person seminars to gain stay up to date on all the latest technology and research in the dental field.
FAMILY AND COMMUNITY
My husband, Tom, and I live in the western suburbs, and we are excited to start our family here. We are blessed to have our families nearby in the Chicagoland area. When not at work, we are trying new restaurants, baking, and enjoying time with family and friends. We are avid Cubs fan (we met at a Cubs game!). Locally, we enjoy supporting the Marmion Cadets, Tom’s alma mater.
When I am not at Fairview Dental, I work at the Illinois Youth Center in Saint Charles providing dental care to young adult men in need. I am a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois State Dental Society.
